Curtain Walling
Portico GB Ltd have
always provided solutions instead of problems, many of our
contracts, especially in the latter years have been apartments
and whilst we are fitting Aluminium
windows we also have increasingly been providing
PVCu windows and in particular
Grey foil PVCu which has been replacing aluminium due to the
obvious economics but also the far better thermal values.
In apartments this means there are stairwells and entrance doors
that need to be in aluminium to enable the issues of wind
loading and excess wear and tear of communal areas to be
overcome.
Combining our skills in both disciplines means there is only one
sub-contractor on all the fenestration on site, which keeps the
costs down and keeps continuity of product and service.
We have the technical back up in house as well as the highly
technical back up of the profile manufacturers.
Whilst curtain walling is a product with endless possibilities
of height and width there are also cost savings to be made by
ensuring we are introduced to the project early for whilst
curtain walling can be dramatic and effective it can also be
more expensive that conventional walling so allowing us to work
with you in value engineering your particular project will never
make the building more expensive and often saves money without
compromising the ‘look’.
We welcome enquiries on all aspects of fenestration and we are
sure that including Portico GB Ltd on your tender list can only
ensure that you will get a professional and reliable offer.
Commonsense approach, Communication clarity and Courtesy from
all our staff is the basis of our business and has been the
foundation behind our success.
